- The KayPro 286i can be used as a workstation with the Advanced
- NetWare/S (Star) using the standard NIC and the Intelligent NIC.

- The KayPro 286i will work as a file server or a workstation under
- Advanced NetWare/86 or Advanced NetWare/286 with the following
- systems.

- Advanced NetWare/G (with Revision 4 hardware and older)
- Advanced NetWare/E
- Advanced NetWare/O
- Advanced NetWare/PC (with the Orchid PC-NET)
- Advanced NetWare/IS
- Advanced NetWare/C
- Advanced NetWare/SM
- Advanced NetWare/N
- Advanced NetWare/D

- The KayPro 286i will work as an Advanced NetWare 86/P workstation
- and file server. It will also work as an Advanced NetWare 286/P
- workstation; however, due to reasons unknown it will not work as an
- Advanced NetWare 286/P file server. Also,in order the use the
- KayPro 286i with either type of Advanced NetWare /P the tape
- controller must be removed.

- Advanced NetWare/PCN will not work on the KayPro 286i, because of
- IBM hardware dependency.

- An unexpected S/W interrupt message will appear on the screen when
- cold booting any Advanced NetWare/86 file server. Simply type
- <RETURN> to continue.

- The testing was done under the following DOS environments:

- PC DOS 2.1 dedicated file server (86 and 286)

- PC DOS 3.1 dedicated file server (86 and 286)

- PC DOS 2.1 non-dedicated file server (86 only)
